Trump: It’s “Not The Right Time” For a Russia-Ukraine Ceasefire

United States ruler, Donald Trump, has said that it is “not the right time”...

Friday wrap-ups are easy to write these days.

You start with a list of the week’s major events.  Then you close your eyes and just sort of “see it” as a cartoon.

“What would today look like with a hit of windowpane in the Ovaltine when I was a kid?”

This ain’t Hanna-Barbera, but you’ll get the drift.

Reality has a lot in common with the yellow pad on the desk.  Looks like one object.  But, on closer inspection (like ontological reality itself) layers come into focus and there’s a lot more to it…

Each of these layers turns out to be a whole, consistent, well-structured event-chain,  Each sheet has its own narrative.  And the role of global player governments is to feed (and re-feed) the narratives to each government’s flock of tax-sheeple so the tension and control continues. Products remain primary and instead of exploring our hearts, the world is fascinated with putting a USB port into the human brain.

Do we really want Ai to follow us into dreams, aspirations, and the hideouts of spirit?  No, of course not. But on the flip-side, now that Nvidia has crested $4-trillion dollars worth of stock value this week, Nvidia Sets New Standard, Closes Above $4 Trillion Mark, we can see the split between thinkers and gamblers clearer than ever… Only five countries in the whole world have a GDP higher than Nvidia’s cap.  At the present rate of rise, they will overtake India and Japan GDP next month.

Governments are on the ropes – there’s a slow-moti9n acquisition movement by corporations underway. Globalism was an IPO.  Mez funding has run out and what follows now will challenge Orville Reddenbacher to keep up.

24 Hours: What’s Changed?

The SoCal breakaway insurrectionists are back in headlines: Protesters and federal agents clash during raid at Southern California farm. Seems to us, even application of federal law across the whole of the country doesn’t sit well… And the law faring is ramping up, too: Federal judge outwits Supreme Court on birthright citizenship—for now.

Reform is coming to the non-elected bureaucrats who have been shaping a liberal foreign agenda beyond Executive control for decades: US State Department to issue layoff notices amid downsizing plans: Report. We’ll believe it when it happens.  Put it in the Epstein pile, for now.

Ever since the cartoon came to me Tuesday (Trump’s Trader-totter) been keeping an eye on “Tirades are US“.  Mark Carney Responds to Donald Trump’s 35% Tariff Threat to Canada | Miami Herald  We never have long to wait….er….wait!  Here’s another one… Trump Threatens 50% Tariffs on Brazil over Bolsonaro Trial.

Off on the side, a story out of Europe awaits entry into the mainstream: Jim Ferguson – Reporting from the Netherlands Yesterday, I witnessed history unfold inside a Dutch courtroom. Arno van Kessel — the brave lawyer arrested without charge, blindfolded, and thrown in jail… will be pressing his global genocide claims (COVID-19) in court.

And put U.S. and Israeli air ops against ports in Yemen on the weekend watch list. Because? Rescuers seek missing crew from Red Sea attack as U.S. alleges Yemen rebels ‘kidnapped’ them.  Sounds like a case for some humanitarian bombing ,doesn’t it?

Meanwhile Gaza simmers, paperwork stalls: At end of Netanyahu’s US visit, red-lines and sticking points still hinder Gaza deal…

The Wax Witch Forecast

Named after the sideshow fortune dispenser in Bradbury’s “Something Wicked This Way Comes” we roll into digital witchery to see the road ahead…

The expanded forecast on Peoplenomics tomorrow, but for now, the future’s so bright, you gotta wear shades…

From the cracked cauldron of macro mayhem…

Markets ride the broomstick sideways this weekend, brewing tension under a full moon of rate anxiety.

Monday to Tuesday brings calm fog and featherlight trading — the calm before the CPI storm.

By Wednesday, the number drops, and the pot boils or spoils: a hot print could hex the Fed back into hawk mode. A cool reading? Expect risk assets to cackle higher.

  •  Witch’s Warning: Watch gold, oil, and the 10-year — one will flinch before the rest. Keep your crystal balls calibrated.

(My what?)

She may be onto something with the inflation-sensitive asset class:  If you just bought a string of apartment buildings this year, or own piles of silver, inflation’s Ure pal.  Silver this morning busted up above $38.  So as long as the them-c-crats can’t tax unrealized gains, we’ll hide out int he deer stands of East Texas while the Bitcoin Apocalypse brews up…

29-Time?

Glad you asked?  Don’t be:

Under most Elliott Rules, we are all “Clear Belooowww!!!”

Around the Ranch:  The Mending Ending

Been a dandy week here: Oral surgery for a twisted root canal went well except for two small points.  First, I forgot to ask my Harvard-trained endo-doc if they had a Molar and Bones society for the dental school.  (Not knocking, they would just do shots…).

The other plague in the aftermath was “soft foods.”  A fellow can only eat just-so-much spaghetti, cottage cheese, ranch beans, and chicken casserole, right? Elaine rolls her eyes and mutters something about (…big baby…).

Not quite “fit as a fiddle” but I’ve moved up to second cello now.  Which means Ride ’em Mow Boy!

Cue the poetry assistant:

Ode to a Mighty Mower

I mount my steed of red and chrome,
My grass-bound chariot close to home.
It roars to life with no smoke, just might—
(Though squirrels scream and cats take flight.)

I zig, I zag, I mow with flair,
In loops and lines and shapes of hair.
Neighbors point and shake their heads,
As I don’t pause at flowerbeds.

No horse, no car, no noble plane—
Just me, my mower, roll insane.
If you see me cutting near,
Run while you can and choke back fear!

Ya’ll come back for ShopTalk Sunday. Like we say around here: Everything’s a Business Model.  I just happen to run the returns and repair desk.

I should have the lawn done by Sunday, too.

Write when (etc.),
