After the successful removal of Nicolas Maduro from power in Venezuela, the United States now seek a regime change in Cuba. Originally declaring that the operation was over “narco terrorism,” it was quickly revealed that the U.S. simply wanted control of Venezuela’s natural resources. So what’s going on with Cuba?

Currently, the U.S. ruling class is searching for allies within Cuba’s government in order to help facilitate regime change. The U.S. believes that Cuba’s economy is “close to collapse and that the government has never been this fragile after losing a vital benefactor in Maduro.”

So, because the U.S. kidnapped Maduro to take control of Venezuela’s oil, it now wants to provoke and control Cuba?

The Washington Journal also pointed out that the U.S. is getting bolder with its war mongering. The newspaper stated that the administration of US President Donald Trump has been emboldened by the US ouster of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro” and is treating it as a blueprint for a takeover of Cuba.

U.S. officials reportedly have no concrete plan yet. However, they have already set some things in motion toward their desired outcome. Officials have been meeting with Cuban exiles and civic groups in Miami and Washington to identify a government official in Havana who might “want to cut a deal” with the imperialist regime currently ruling the U.S.

The report follows a series of escalating threats from Washington.

Trump has already issued an ultimatum to Cuba earlier this month, urging it to “make a deal before it is too late.”

The global ruling classes have condemned the actions of the U.S. and sparked outrage among civilians of other countries that Trump has threatened. The widespread international condemnation was commented on by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as a “flagrant violation” of international law – an assessment he said is shared by the “global majority.”
