United States President Donald Trump has ordered “a total and complete” blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela. This move has been condemned by Caracas as “warmongering threats.”

The Trump administration is desperately trying to tie the drug trafficking to the current Venezuelan regime, as it looks for an excuse to remove Nicolas Maduro from power.

WAR ALERT: Trump Administration Considers “Murder Mission” And Seizure Of Venezuela Oil Fields

The US has also recently conducted several deadly strikes on alleged Venezuelan drug-smuggling boats, and has significantly built up its naval presence nearby.

The U.S. Strikes 3 MORE Boats Killing 8

In his Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump wrote that Venezuela was “completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled in the History of South America”. He threatened that it would “only get bigger” and “be like nothing they have ever seen before.”

Trump also accused Maduro’s ruling class of using “stolen” oil to “finance themselves, Drug Terrorism, Human Trafficking, Murder, and Kidnapping.”

The U.S. has no moral leg to stand on when it comes to murder. Several people have been killed in what has amounted to obvious war crimes, without due process or even evidence, under the guise of “narco terrorism” by the U.S. ruling class.

The president has repeatedly accused Venezuela of drug smuggling, and since September, the US military has killed at least 90 people with its strikes on boats that were allegedly carrying fentanyl and other illegal drugs to the US. –BBC

Based on how quickly this war crime activity expanded to include the seizure of an oil tanker, Caracas could be telling the truth.

What do you think? Is the U.S. looking for easy access to resources? Will Venezuela fight back?
