The United States Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, said that the United States “must prepare for war.” The infamous Christian nationalist told a gathering of senior military commanders without specifying who the U.S. is going to war with.

Since specifics were left out, perhaps he’s “preparing” the civilians for a war against them. So far, the current administration has done much to allude to the possibility of a divide so great that the ruling class would be on one side of taking out its own people.

The Pentagon has recently completed two major policy reviews, one of which was a new National Defense Strategy that shifts priorities from China to homeland security and the Western Hemisphere, according to a report by RT.  “To ensure peace, we must prepare for war,” Hegseth told hundreds of U.S. generals and admirals at a Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia, on Tuesday. He also claimed that “pacifism is … naïve and dangerous.”

Hegseth said that the United States’ ruling class is going to need more military might at its disposal. It will need troops (living, breathing human beings to sacrifice to the war machine), weapons, and ammunition.  “This is a moment of urgency, mounting urgency,” he stated, citing alleged growing threats. Hegseth did not name any specific ones beyond the need to deter China. He also announced looser rules of engagement that would allow the U.S. military to “intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies.”

At the very least, they pulled away the illusion and renamed the Department of Defense to the Department of War. They aren’t exactly hiding it anymore. What did we expect?

Last month, President Donald Trump rebranded the Defense Department as the Department of War. On Tuesday, Hegseth stated that fighting wars would be its sole mission. – RT

U.S. Secretary Of War Demands Urgent Meeting Of Top Generals

Hegseth wasn’t the only one in the ruling class to declare an urgency for the preparation of war. The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, echoed the sentiment, also telling the gathering that America “must be prepared for war.” He also mentioned unspecified “global risks” that he said were “on the rise.”

This is yet another horrifying step toward a Christian Nationalist military dictatorship. All of this ties together, and we are going down a path that will be difficult to turn from if we aren’t careful. We’ve officially begun the descent down the slippery slope many have warned about. All governments descend into tyranny, and the U.S. will be no different.
