Earlier this year, Sturm, Ruger & Company released the Ruger LC Carbine in .45 ACP, a follow-up to the original model chambered in 5.7x28mm. Since its introduction in 2022, the LC Carbine has been noted for being accurate while fun to shoot. It appears to be a tall order to top the .45 model, but Ruger just delivered the LC Carbine in 10mm Auto.

As with the previous models, the Ruger LC Carbine offering in 10mm is outfitted with a 16.25-inch threaded barrel, adjustable folding stock, Ruger Rapid Deploy folding sights, and ambidextrous controls – and with the stock set to the shortest length of pull, this LC Carbine is just 28.6 inches in length. Based on the .45 Auto LC Carbine, the 10mm Auto carbine also offers right- and left-hand bolt releases, an octagonal handguard, and reversible magazine release, and it is compatible with most off-the-shelf, 10mm Glock-pattern magazines.

The lightweight firearm also features an aluminum free-float handguard with M-LOK attachment slots, QD attachment points for slings, and a full-length Picatinny rail for AR-height optics. Its folding stock is reversible and features an adjustable length of pull, while it can easily be replaced with AR-pattern stocks to add even greater flexibility. The rear of LC Carbine’s receiver is also equipped with a Picatinny rail for maximum accessory compatibility.

Like the earlier models, the LC Carbine in 10mm also utilizes Ruger’s safe, reliable and proven Secure Action fire-control mechanism that combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed safety trigger. It provides a short, smooth pull, clean break, and positive reset. The LC Carbine was designed to provide easy disassembly without tools, allowing for convenient cleaning and maintenance.

Ruger LC Carbine in 10mm Specs:

  • Capacity: 30+1
  • Weight: 7.1 pounds
  • Overall Length: 30.60 inches
  • Length of Pull: 12.60 to 14.60 inches
  • Twist1: 16 inches right hand
  • Barrel Length: 16.25 inches

  • Receiver Material: Aluminum Alloy
