Rattlesnake Tactical’s 34-round 9mm extended magazines for Glock-pattern pistols are priced like a budget option, but so far, they’ve held their own at the range.

Ammunition Depot reached out to see if I’d be interested in testing out their new Rattlesnake Tactical 34-round Glock mags. Two free extended magazines, loaded with 9mm FMJ? I wasn’t going to turn that down. I was genuinely curious to try them out, since I typically run standard Glock mags and the idea of 34 rounds in one mag definitely sounded fun. Over the course of three range sessions, after some trial and error getting usable footage, I ran 204 rounds through them using my Glock 19 Gen 5. The mags seated properly, fed without issue, and functioned exactly as you’d hope.

Loading them by hand was pretty straightforward—they weren’t overly stiff even when nearing capacity, as you can see in the video. I also tested them with my UpLULA MagLULA loader, which worked without any problems. I keep one of these loaders in my range bag at all times—it’s a great way to save your thumbs.

The filming process took a few tries—my first setup was too shaky due to my 9-year-old son as the camera man, and my second attempt missed the frame. Third time was the charm using a POV camera mounted on my hat, and throughout all of it, the mags performed just fine.

These mags are built from impact-resistant polymer with a textured grip and high-tensile spring. They’re compatible with double-stack 9mm Glocks and anything that accepts Glock-pattern magazines. I’m heading to Las Vegas for a month tomorrow and plan to keep putting rounds through them using my Recover Tactical Glock conversion setup I have there. I’ll be sharing more footage from those tests soon—make sure to follow along on your favorite social platform.

At just $5.99, they’re hard to pass up. I’ll keep testing them over time, but for casual use, training, or range fun, they seem like a solid option—especially at this price point.
