Maxim Defense, a leading manufacturer in precision firearms, suppressors, and accessories, has introduced the new QD Suppressor System, the latest addition to its acclaimed MSX Suppressor line. This innovative suppressor features a proprietary flash hider, allowing for tool-free attachment and removal.

The QD Suppressor and flash hider are designed to be multi-caliber compatible, making them suitable for military, law enforcement, hunters, sports shooters, and firearm enthusiasts alike.

Key Features include:

  • Multi-Caliber Compatibility
  • Patented M-Kore™ Technology
  • Fully Serviceable by the end user
  • Compatible with CGS muzzle devices

MSRP: $1,150 – $1,550 (Includes suppressor and QD muzzle device)

Technical Specifications:

  • Length: DSX/DS: 7.9” / DS-K: 6”
  • Weight: DSX/DS: 21oz / DS-K: 18oz
  • Diameter: 1.75”
  • Flash Hider Thread Pitch:1/2 x28 – 5/8×24

David Farrell, Vice President of Commercial Sales at Maxim Defense, expressed enthusiasm for the new system: “The QD is the only quick detachable suppressor on the market that’s fully serviceable and maintainable, ensuring longer lifespan and superior performance.”

Available in the DSX, DS, and DS-K models, the QD suppressor system offers versatility across various calibers, allowing users to employ a single suppressor for multiple firearms. This design not only saves time and money but also simplifies regulatory processes with just one tax stamp. Featuring patented M-Kore™ technology, the QD suppressor guarantees unmatched durability and optimized performance. It has been tested for safety with UTM and has successfully passed SOCOM’s rigorous endurance and destruction assessments, demonstrating its resilience under extreme conditions.

Both the QD suppressor and flash hider are finished with a CR-DLC coating, enhancing resistance to wear, heat, and carbon buildup. This results in reduced maintenance requirements and ensures long-term reliability.

The QD Suppressor is engineered for reliability, versatility, and ease of use. After the flash hider is installed, the suppressor can be quickly attached and removed without any special tools or complicated procedures. With thicker 1-16th ACME threading, improved torque transfer is ensured for a secure fit. Additionally, the QD suppressor is compatible with various muzzle devices, including CGS, allowing users to tailor their setup to specific needs. When not in use, the flash hider functions effectively as a standalone muzzle device.
