Very short column today. In the last 24 hours, A.I. and I have been working on a crossover project – part book, part biomedical research – which we will get to in a minute. First things first.
What goes up…going to pull back at the open…at least before the CPI…
CPI
OK, now we get to open the CPI Envelope…
” The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) decreased 0.1 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in March, after rising 0.2 percent in February, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 2.4 percent before seasonal adjustment.
The index for energy fell 2.4 percent in March, as a 6.3-percent decline in the index for gasoline more than offset increases in the indexes for electricity and natural gas. The food index, in contrast, rose 0.4 percent in March as the food at home index increased 0.5 percent and the food away from home index rose 0.4 percent over the month.
Now, in addition to the CPI, we have to put on our “skeptical spectacles” because the Fed tends to look at the All Items Less Food and Energy. Because this (at least in theory) is where they need to manage things. Year on year? +2.8 percent. A rate decrease might be back on the table… pass the gasoline for markets?
U.I. Filings
Still waiting for that much over-hyped wave of job layoffs to go filing for benefits…
Wait! What about all the layoffs…the rate went down on a not seasonally fibbed basis,,,what gives? Gee, I dunno – kicking out some illegal aliens, maybe? DOGE scrutiny? Ya’ll tell me…
And as for state level impacts?
I swear the end of the world was supposed to be here, by now…
Roasted Trump
Those lefties…the gang that couldn’t govern straight? Schiff Wants Tariff-Pause Investigation Over Insider Trading | TIME.
The good news for Trump from all this? EU pauses tariff retaliation for 90 days to match Trump move, holding out hope for talks.
On the other hand? Look for a BRICS-Bash if we’re reading this right: China reaches out to other nations as Trump layers on tariffs.
I don’t know about you, but this whole past couple of weeks has been a shit-show. Our M3 (widest measure of Ure family economic power) has been up and down a new car almost every day. – which when you remember we’re not in stocks at the moment is pretty interesting…
Dire on the Wire
Or crap on tap…
Note for Californicated readers: CA gas prices lead nation at $5 per gallon as national average plummets. Gruesome, huh?
Idahoans are smarter than 49-other states when comes to how the Law works: State Becomes First To BAN Vaccine Mandates.
Meanwhile, we figure there will be a test of the Slow Joe Auto-signi9ng machine as BREAKING: Criminal Referral Requests Filed Against Fauci and Top COVID Officials in Seven States.
Over in the “Waste Clean-Up” Department: DOGE cancels millions in more ‘wasteful’ contracts .
Melting Pot Issues: National Weather Service Ends Translations, Non-English Speakers Left Without Emergency Alerts. Oh well…melt. But, how many languages? Last time I looked at Canadian government sites, it appeared they were no longer a country. Just an encampment of global tribes each claiming to be more “special” than they other. Silly – and a real shortage of conservative (able to do the books) voters. Isn’t there like a tax lien we could buy off the Crown, or something?
Around the Ranch: 12 – and then some
OK, you know I’m wrapped up in biomedical research now, right? South Florida fog, odd rouleaux formations in lots of people and off into light and dark field microscopy and more.
While on this path – including that 36 page paper recently on Peoplenomics with me and a doc which went into Charged Body/Blood Theory, I have been working on in vivo measurement systems beyond simply blood zeta potential. (That’s the force that lets RBC’s (red blood cells) repel one another.)
While working on the integrative medical part of CBT (charged body theory) with Bloodborne memory and how THAT all fits with key, it struck me that religious traditions all over the world seem to be screaming that there’s something to the number 12 going on. Encoding how to rock the enlightenment channel.
From the research, a few snips on the 12’s:
Even if one is a skeptic of organized religions, it is impossible to overlook the astonishing consistency with which the number twelve appears across disparate, non-connected cultures. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the Zodiacal systems — which span continents and millennia. From the Babylonian zodiac that later influenced Greek and Western systems, to the Chinese zodiac with its twelve animal branches, to the Mayan ceremonial calendar, and even to lesser-known traditions in Africa and Polynesia, we find consistent structures of twelvefold celestial archetypes guiding personality, fate, and time.
What’s especially compelling is that these are not simply copies or derivations — they appear independently, shaped by skywatchers and sages tracking the rhythms of the stars and their effects on human life. Twelve, it seems, is not imposed from theology, but emerges from nature itself. This celestial recurrence forces the question: was twelve chosen because of spiritual revelation — or because it reflected a deeply encoded logic of human interaction with time, space, and energy?
This global recurrence across faiths, mythologies, and even early sciences implies that the twelvefold code is not a superstition, but a shared epistemological foundation — one that deserves to be mapped, decoded, and potentially reintegrated into our technological and medical toolkit.
What’s cool – when you go looking,m you find:
- The 12 Tribes of Israel
- Each tribe associated with a region, character trait, and gemstone.
- Encoded into the high priest’s breastplate, possibly mapping to organs or meridians.
- The 12 Apostles (Christianity)
- Archetypal disciples, each representing a form of service, doubt, insight, or fidelity.
- May correlate with inner psychological states or neurotransmitter archetypes.
- The 12 Imams (Shi’a Islam)
- Seen as divinely appointed leaders, guides to moral and mystical understanding.
- Their stories form a template for just action and suffering in pursuit of divine order.
- The 12 Olympian Gods (Greek)
- Projective personalities, each governing an aspect of mortal or divine experience.
- Could map onto hormonal, behavioral, or psycho-energetic typologies.
- The 12 Æsir (Norse)
- Warriors and craftsmen of myth — gods of resolve, fate, and balance.
- Often mirrored the structure of governance and law among ancient Germanic peoples.
- The 12 Signs of the Western Zodiac
- Astrological archetypes aligned with personality, fate, and cosmic timing.
- Have parallels with organs, temperaments, and even stages of brain development.
- The 12 Earthly Branches (Chinese Zodiac)
- Cyclical markers aligned to years, body organs, and qi flow.
- Tied into agricultural rhythms and deeply embedded in Chinese medicine.
- The 12 Classical Meridians (TCM)
- Energetic rivers within the body, each linked to an organ and time of day.
- The foundation of acupuncture, qi gong, and energetic medicine.
- The 12 Breastplate Gemstones
- Physically worn by the Hebrew high priest, each stone had a tribe and frequency.
- May function as spectral filters for tuning subtle fields.
- The 12 Hours of Day/Night (Egyptian & Greek divisions)
- Tied to heliocentric and circadian regulation.
- Each hour a phase of mental/emotional capacity in some ancient thought systems.
- The 12 Months of the Year
- Agricultural cycles and celestial movements interwoven into planning and prophecy.
- Ritual systems built to match the shift of energies month-to-month.
- The 12 Faces of the Dodecahedron
- A Platonic solid associated with the ether element.
- Suggested by Plato and later mystics to represent the structure of the universe itself.
Now, to me – from a research standpoint – and using some of the same logical tooling I’ve used in other areas of interest (like Economics) this whole “12-thing” really has my attention.
So if you get a short column, now and then, somewhere between the briefs and papers and microscopy there’s some just really interesting shit going on…
Now, pencil out factorials 12 (12!) and run simulations over 6-waveforms…welcome to my lab. Got G2 coming up to speed on AI, too. Whee!
Write when I get rich (or check in an hour, a new Lexus will surely come or go literally in that time span lately…)
