Need a little something to kick the neurons around while mindlessly facing work and heat? Do we have a deal for you!
Odds of a JeffWar
We have a circle of very bright colleagues – but for those who are not inherently into domain-jumping – here’s what (and how) a JeffWar could work.
Step 1: (Educate)
You need to know that humans have – due to specialization – done a lot of knowledge siloing. There is (in D.C.) a “political domain” and there is a “military domain” for example. Kinda like in Universities we have domains. Except in higher Ed, these are called colleges to keep domain and siloing issues murky. There’s a college of engineering, a college of medicine, and so forth.
Step 2: (Enumerate)
Knowledge silos are a societal form of “fire-walling.” It’s what slows people in the AMERICAN political domain from realizing there may be a link between what’s going on with Jeffrey Epstein files on the one hand, and the growing efforts in Europe/NATO to wreak havoc on Russia – nominally over Ukraine.
Say, this couldn’t be a sideshow, could it? French president Macron sues right-wing podcaster over claim France’s first lady was born male. And speaking of peasants with pitchforks at the gate Zelenskyy urges ‘national unity’ amid Ukraine anti-corruption protests. When in doubt? Escalate!
Step 3: (Memorate)
As a collection of Domain Walkers, UrbanSurvival readers like to “burn down the silos. We see continuums not boundaries. We also have pretty good memories.
As a result, a few of us remember that a lot of non-U.S. people in the Eurosphere had their names come up in the Epstein discussions. Tony Blair denied being on the periphery of Epstein, for example, but could a Maxwell concert hitting high (and low) notes as she “sings” endanger future leadership fables foisted on Europe? Prince Andrew was not alone?
Step 4: (Projecticate)
The U.S. House this week tried to buy Europe some time. But that has now blown up. House Oversight Committee to subpoena DOJ for Epstein files; Trump to visit Federal Reserve.
Our extensibility thinking ponders whether the world is at greater risk now of global war, or at least a major false flag which would be implausibly deniable as all the stops are pulled out…
Step 5″ (Distracacate)
Especially since House panel votes to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton over possible links to Ghislaine Maxwell. While word leaks to the press that Exclusive | Justice Department Told Trump in May That His Name Is Among Many in the Epstein Files – WSJ,
“His name is among many in the Epstein files” is the pull quote to ponder. But that’s not going to fix “the Obama problem” now: Gabbard releases more Russia documents, prompting concerns over intelligence sources. Which we figure will be the liberal talking point to save Obama from scrutiny – play the National Security card, is it?
Oh? The files that don’t exist?
Dial up Orville Redenbacher. A “boom” time just ahead. We want to be ready for it. Might toss in some of this, too. You know – just in case?
Not to be Confused with Fantasy Island
That’s on a different channel. But…
CFNAI
Let’s reduce that steaming pile to simmer and go back to roasting routine press releases, shall we? Much safer. So, how about the Chicago Fed National Activity Indicator?
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) increased to –0.10 in June from –0.16 in May. Two of the four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index increased from May, but all four categories made negative contributions in June. The index’s three-month moving average, CFNAI-MA3, decreased to –0.22 in June from –0.14 in May.
The CFNAI Diffusion Index, which is also a three-month moving average, decreased to –0.37 in June from –0.32 in May. Thirty-seven of the 85 individual indicators made positive contributions to the CFNAI in June, while 48 made negative contributions. Fifty-three indicators improved from May to June, while 32 indicators deteriorated. Of the indicators that improved, 21 made negative contributions.
(God I love “negsative contribution” as a turn of a phrase…how do you give a takeaway?)
Then we can crank in the latest unemployment filing data…
With a drill-down into which states were feeling change most:
But rhe market doesn’t care. Because dear reader, we are in a screaming “buy the rumor” as the “sell the news” events line up for next week – including the Fed decision.
That said, we’d love to be a fly on the wall at the Fed – will Trump play the firing card, beg for help saving the Republic, nailing Powell for the new palace? God, that’d be fun, huh?
Newser Derby
What’s like a soap box and going downhill? Why, it’s Newser Derby!
There’s a reason the (liberal) San Francisco federal appeals court was referred to by cynics in the news biz as the Ninth Circus: Trump’s order ending birthright citizenship ruled unconstitutional by fed court. We figure this will be on “auto-appeal to the Supremes…”
“We didn’t do anything wrong, but here, take this check…” department: Columbia reaches $221M settlement with Trump administration over antisemitism allegations.
Gee, no mercury-based preservative in flu shots…oh damn! Kennedy adopts panel’s advice to remove flu shot ingredient.

ATR: Religion – as an Enteric Coating on Concept?
You know what an enteric coating is, right? Like on those baby aspirin? An enteric coating is a special layer applied to oral medications like tablets or capsules. This coating serves as a protective barrier, preventing the medication from dissolving prematurely in the highly acidic environment of the stomach.
Now let’s “Go Extensible.” What if the acidic environment wasn’t the stomach, but culture itself? Dogma, politics, fear, fire — all the things that dissolve raw, challenging knowledge before it can do its work?
Now, what if important knowledge about human consciousness-rising and domains of thought needed to be “enteric coated” to make it down through history? This is our starting point for the late week deep work.
Wednesday’s Peoplenomics report was something of a landmark. Reading comes to about 88-pages and in addition to the ChartPack there are three really interesting papers. My work with two doctors on a Continuum between ADHD and Alzheimer’s is interesting, sure.
But it has spurred additional research (and maybe a new book) on how humans are “consciousness tunneling animals” for “the ontology.” And this is where my research is today.
We all have “voices in our heads.” But most people don’t “work on managing their “voices.” There are three of them. There’s the “rational self” voice. (id). There’s the irrational emotional (ego), And there’s the “observer” – kinda like a court reporter.
Whenever you are thinking, there’s a speaker, an audience and the “note taker.” Now, near as I can figure it, it’s the reporter/ note-taker who does the playback when we die as part of the life review experience.
But it then started dawning that this “domain knowledge” may have been encapsulated in the biblical trinity concept (Father (rational/logical), Son (egoic/impulsive) and Holy Ghost (the note-taker). And that leads to the notion that religion may be a kind of “enteric coating” on hard-won knowledge from previous great civilizations on this here rock.
Well, once you get that far (conceptually) it’s only a hop, skip, and a jump to imagining that other “religiosity concepts” (tree of life, for example) may offer a dandy way for ancient knowledge to have been given an enteric coating. Without which, long-dead civilization couldn’t have passed-on vital systems knowledge about human reawakening down through millennia.
Anyway, here’s a paper on point (one of three in the PN report – the ADHD–> Alzheimer’s paper is being submitted to journals, so we won’t make that public and yes, two doctors are on the author line with me…) This is the enteric standalone… “Working Title: The Tree of Life as a Bioenergetic Diagnostic Tool: Recovering Medical Intelligence from Ancient Symbolic Systems.” (TreeOfLife_)
Anyway, this part ends up as only the forward to my next book which has the working title “Domain-Walking: An Introduction to Modern Magic” which is starting to kick around between the ears…
That one will likely be a big one – probably 400-500 pages – because I will include chapters from each of my books that support the various stages of the evolving conceptual framework.
This IS the book that I wish someone had handed me at age 12 and said “This is how all this silly shit in the world works – this is kind of like the Coast Pilot for sailing ships, or an approach plate into a major airport…”
Back to the lab now, which is a kind of Jordan Peterson meets Alan Watts kind of place…to do Cal Newport style Deep Work.
